Gearing -up

The final touches are being out in place for the annual Quilt and Fibre Art Festival. The Village Silos will be buzzing with excitement.Artists from the past twenty three years will be returning to share one piece from the past and a current piece. What a gallery! In addition, Bonnie Dopfer will be selling small sized 'Barn Board Quilts!'

If you are interested in hanging a quilt at the St. Jacob's Schoolhouse during the week of the Quilt Festival, please let us know. New exhibitors are welcome! As there is no security in the building a 'hot body' from our Quilt Board sleeps in the schoolhouse. Stories have been few- squirrels could be heard chasing nuts during the night and night invaders from Drayton Theatre came to pick up a prop at midnight. Scary stuff.
